Long time lurker! I'm a non-technical founder who has been bootstrapping the SaaS B2B auction platform. Initially, the product was built for internal use to streamline the liquidation process for new, used and obsolete inventory we procure from big box retailers and other businesses.
Our target market is businesses that want to streamline their excess inventory selloff process. The application allows resell teams to create and set the auction format like blind auction, bid feedback, bid increments, time extensions, currency and invite their buyer base to participate.
We also run our own sales programs using the application for mobile trade-in/buyback schemes that we manage. Participants of the sales event are typically business bargain hunters who look to flip the inventory on eBay, Craigslist, FB Marketplace and their own e-commerce websites. Purchasers of more heavily used or damaged inventory are usually businesses with repair capability that refurbish the electronics devices or harvest spare parts for their supply chain.
It's a niche business product but I thought I'd share with the PH community.
