Every seat in the office is hard. Rehearse yours first.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Kay, GTM at SAPIENSQ. I used to think the office would get easier as I moved up. It didn't. It just got hard in a different way. As a junior, I talked back to my managers and privately labeled them kkondae, Korean slang for the out-of-touch boss. A few years later a new hire joined my team, and suddenly I was the uncomfortable one. As a team lead, it was the whole team: splitting the work, keeping everyone motivated, and feeling guilty every time the workload piled up. Now I run go-to-market at a startup, mostly on my own, carrying the CEO's vision as if it were mine. I worked at the kind of company people envy. That didn't make the conversations any easier. What I kept wishing for was a place to practice them before they happened. That's Refill.
How it works
1. Write the coworkers you're dealing with: the boss who never explains, the new hire who goes quiet, the teammate who's burning out. You choose their traits.
2. Roleplay the conversation you've been putting off. Run it again with a different approach, or make the persona tougher.
3. Walk into the real office a little lighter.
Who it's for: new hires figuring out the unwritten rules, seniors who are suddenly responsible for someone else, and first-time leads learning that managing people is a job of its own.
A few honest notes: every coworker in Refill is AI, generated from the traits you give it, and every message is labeled that way. Refill isn't available in the EU yet. We're early, so expect some rough edges.
Which seat are you in right now, and what's the conversation you keep putting off?
Please note: currently, our service is exclusively available in the US, Canada, and Australia. We are working hard to expand to more regions soon!
