Red Leaves is a daily word game with a secret at its heart. I created Red Leaves because I wanted a word game that gave you something to carry with you after solving. Every daily word game has a moment when you either win or you don't. I wanted what comes after that moment to mean something. Haiku felt like the only possible answer. Seventeen syllables that say more than they should. Six letters instead of five was a deliberate choice. More letters means more information per guess, but more importantly it unlocks a richer, more resonant vocabulary. I hope Red Leaves becomes part of your day. 🍂
