Recently, I found myself diving deep into web blogs and thought, "There's got to be a better way to consume all this content." especially, while eating :) That's when I started searching for a Chrome extension that could read the articles to me. But, oh boy, the options I found? Either super robotic voices or way too expensive for a not so bad voice. So, I decided to make one. It was a bit rough around the edges at first – I mean, it was just me using it for a month or so. But after sharing it with a friend and getting some encouraging feedback, I spent a few more months polishing it up and now it's live on the Chrome Web Store If you're also looking for a text-to-speech option that's more on the natural, AI-generated side and won't cost you an arm and a leg, I'd love for you to try mine out. Any feedback or bug reports would be super appreciated!

Thank you very much! i'm trying to adapt just play button to most of blogs, but all of them have different structure and need individual conditions. And highlight>read is a solution for cases that I'm still about to cover. Google docs and Kindle is another avenues I'm looking forward to bring into picture.

yes, that's really one of the main usecases I'm trying to facilitate. I have elder parents too and reading for them is a critical part of their life, but their vision is unfortunately degrading.
