We launched RankYak here last year. Since then it has written and published thousands of articles for our users, and about half of them rank on page 1 for their target keyword(!). That part works.
But the question we kept getting was "why did it write this article and not that one?" And the honest answer was: there was no bigger plan behind it. Good articles, no strategy connecting them. 2.0 is the strategy.
What's new:
Topical map. RankYak breaks your niche into core and supporting topics, each with its keyword clusters, and shows you what you already cover, what's planned and what's missing. Every article you publish fills a node on that map. Coverage grows over time instead of dumping 300 keywords on you on day one.
Extra keyword features. Keyword research already runs on real search data, but now got the intent, plus an opportunity score so you focus on the ones you can actually win. Want a new angle covered? Kick off research on it yourself.
Writing pipeline rebuild from the ground up. Before writing, RankYak reads the articles that already rank for the keyword, then writes a better one: more complete, more current, and with your own expertise and product knowledge in it. That's what ranks, and it's what AI search picks to cite.
Money pages. Mark the pages that make you money. New articles link to them and the topical map is built to push authority their way.
Editor and Copilot. Every article is editable in a full editor. Ask the Copilot to rework a section and it proposes inline changes you accept or reject. It knows your whole site and remembers your edits, so the next article already follows your preferences.
Full automation control. Autopilot is on by default: research, write, publish, daily. Turn it off and approve every article yourself if you'd rather.
Site Guard. Rechecks every existing page against Search Console daily, flags ranking drops and weak titles, writes the fix for you to approve. Catches keyword cannibalization and prepares the consolidation: one page wins, the rest redirect. Older articles get refreshed with current information automatically.
MCP. Every action in RankYak is exposed, so you can run it from Claude Code, Cursor or your own agent.
