ThoughtScope - Analyze Complex Texts

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm the maker of ThoughtScope. This project started with a simple frustration: whenever I read philosophy, essays, or even my own writing, I could understand individual arguments—but I struggled to see the bigger picture. How do different beliefs connect? Where are the hidden assumptions? Which ideas contradict each other? Existing AI tools could summarize text, but they rarely helped me reason about it. So I decided to build ThoughtScope. Instead of only generating summaries, ThoughtScope analyzes a piece of writing and produces visual insights, including: - A philosophical compass - Relationships between core beliefs - Hidden assumptions - Connections to philosophical traditions The entire project was built over several months while I was still in high school. It has been an incredible learning experience—from designing prompts and backend architecture to deploying the application and improving the user experience based on testing.
