Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm Hitesh, a solo founder and AI researcher. Like most of you, I'm on GitHub dozens of times a day.

I got tired of the tiny, repetitive friction of the clone workflow: click the 'Code' dropdown, copy the URL, switch to the terminal, and type it all out. It's a small thing, but it adds up!

So, I decided to fix it. I spent about 30 minutes building a simple solution: QuickClone.

It's a lightweight Chrome extension that adds a clean "Clone" button right where it should be. One click, and the git clone command is on your clipboard.

My goal was to build a tool that feels like a native part of GitHub, something that just works and gets out of your way.

Here are the promises:
✅ Zero Friction: No more digging through menus.
✅ Native Feel: Styled to blend in perfectly with GitHub's UI.
✅ Lightweight & Fast: No bloat. It does one thing perfectly.
✅ 100% Private: No trackers, no data collection. It's just you and the code.

I built this for myself, but I hope it saves you a few clicks every day too.

It's free and open-source, and I would be honored to get your honest feedback.
