Introducing QueryPie Community Edition: Unified Access Control for SQL, Servers, Kubernetes, and Web Apps

We’ve been building internal access controls for years — scripts for SSH auditing, IAM policies for database access, custom dashboards for Kubernetes RBAC, and manual approval flows for sensitive queries. It worked, but it was messy and hard to scale.

To solve this, we built QueryPie, an access governance layer designed to unify these controls into a single interface. It started in high-compliance environments in Korea (e.g. fintech, AI, healthcare), and we’ve recently made a free Community Edition available.

Some of what it includes:

  • API-level Kubernetes access policies (not just kubeconfig)

  • Command-level SSH control with live monitoring and replay

  • SQL access layer with query-level masking and approval workflows

  • Web app activity tracking (clicks, keystrokes, clipboard, screen recording)

  • Audit logs and policy enforcement across all of the above

  • Optional AI Hub module for securing LLM/agent workflows (experimental)

It’s self-hosted and deployable via Docker. You can try it out without a sales call.

Not trying to pitch hard — just sharing what we’ve built in case others are wrestling with fragmented access control too. Happy to answer questions or hear if others are solving this differently.
