QFinds - Video CV maker app

Hi Makers and Hunters! We are on a mission to reinvent job search and hiring. We've created a free video CV maker app to help you create and edit your perfect video résumé. Here is how the app works: - Choose the topics you want to cover - Upload your text into the app to use it as a script - Press ‘Record’ and on a count down of 3s the video will start recording, your script will be running on the screen that you can read out loud or use it as prompts to guide you Right now we are working hard on: Adding such features as: - Editing, trimming the video and selecting the thumbnail covers - Deleting the videos (right now you can re-record them) Developing the Android app A bit of a backstory: I’ve been working as a freelancer/contractor for a few years now and, before meeting the Co-Founder of QFinds @Farid_Gasanov, I’ve experienced how frustrating it can be to have to look for the next gig or trying to get a permanent role: endless applications, same questions, emails, phone calls, attending interviews without a call-back… And the hardest part: you're never getting this time back! 😱 The only route that actually worked for me was the word of mouth and networking events. The text CV just wouldn’t do. The current process of job search and hiring seems like an outdated model that needs to be changed, if not for our generation, then for the next one for sure (...do I sound old?)! Hiring process is a two-way street. Maybe the next step will be short video series of interviews with the team members of the hiring companies? Happy people, happy culture, happy business. 😌
