Proof Camera turns ordinary photos into clear, timestamped records for deliveries, rentals, returns, marketplace sales, damage and completed work. Each PhotoProof can include a visible date and time, optional location details, a unique Proof ID, metadata and integrity information. Organize related photos in Proof Vault, save or share them, and create Evidence Packages with photos, a PDF summary, metadata and verification data.

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Mikko, the solo maker behind Proof Camera. After around 20 years of working in field installations, I’ve seen how often photos are used to document completed work, equipment, damage and unexpected situations. Taking a photo is easy, but later its context may be unclear: Why was it taken? What condition was something in? Which photos belong together? That problem inspired Proof Camera. I wanted to create a simple camera for everyday situations—not only field work, but also deliveries, rentals, returns, marketplace sales and those “just in case” moments. A PhotoProof can keep the selected details together with the photo, including a visible timestamp, optional location information, a unique Proof ID and integrity data. Related photos can also be organized into groups and exported as Evidence Packages. The biggest challenge was adding useful context and verification features without making the act of taking a photo feel complicated. Proof Camera is my independently developed side project, and this is its first public launch.
