Prism CV - Your CV tailored to the job in 60s, zero AI slop

by
Prism CV is a mobile app that tailors your master resume to any job description in 60 seconds without the AI slop. It acts as a strict fact-based editor to prevent hallucinations, matches exact ATS keywords, and instantly generates a clean PDF. Stop fighting with LLMs and broken Word margins. You can view your fully tailored results for free, and only pay to export the final PDF.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Emanuel! 👋 My brother Octav and I have been building projects under Brobot Capital, and PrismCV was born out of pure personal frustration. Applying for jobs right now is a grind. We all know tailoring your resume for every application works, but the manual process is a massive time sink. I tried using LLMs, but I kept fighting with the AI to stop inventing titles I never had or skills I didn't know. And even when the text was finally good, I still had to spend 20 minutes copy-pasting it back into a Word doc just to rebuild the PDF. I wanted to be able to apply on the go, maybe from a cafe here in Montreal, while still being able to make small adjustments. The idea was to get real help from AI without having to constantly babysit it and without it going off the rails. So I built PrismCV to automate the entire pipeline. Here is what makes it different from standard AI writers: Strict Fact Grounding: It acts as a strict editor, not a ghostwriter. It is explicitly forbidden from inventing skills, titles, or dates. It only reframes your actual history. Noise Suppression: It analyzes the JD and suppresses your irrelevant past experience, so your relevant wins naturally float to the top. Literal ATS Matching: It matches the exact spelling of tools from the JD (like "React.js" vs "React") so you pass the filters without losing your actual voice. Zero Formatting Labor: This was the biggest bottleneck. Once the tailoring is done, the app maps the data directly into a clean, single-column ATS PDF. Zero copy-pasting required. Under the hood: We are running a Rails API hosted on our own Coolify VPS, connected to a mobile front-end. You can run your resume through the app and view the full tailored result (and cover letter) for free. You only pay a small fee if you like it and want to export the final PDF to apply. We are not trying to get rich here, just trying to share a helpful tool that makes AI work for us instead of creating more manual formatting work. I would love to hear your feedback on our tailoring logic and answer any questions you have about the prompt engineering!
