Hey Product Hunt, I'm Kavin, the maker of Prism 👋 I use several AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode), and I got tired of setting each one up separately. Every agent wanted its own model config, its own MCP setup with its own credentials, and its own way of doing web search. Trying a new provider meant editing config files in a bunch of places. So I built Prism, a small app that lives in your system tray and handles all of it: 🔌 Any agent, any provider: use Claude Code with a non-Anthropic model, or Codex with a different provider. Prism translates between the formats in real time, with streaming. 🧰 One MCP endpoint: add MCP servers once, give each agent its own allowlist, and keep the credentials in Prism instead of in every config. 🔍 Free web search: a built-in local search engine with no API keys, or plug in Exa, Tavily, Brave or Serper. ⚡ One-click setup for 14 agents, with your existing config backed up first. 📊 A local dashboard for tokens and speed, per model and per client. It's a single small app (no Python, Node or Docker), runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and it's free and MIT licensed. Honest notes: it's a young project, some features like prompt caching aren't supported yet, and it sends one anonymous daily heartbeat so I can count installs (one click to turn off, and it never includes prompts or keys). I'd love to hear which agents or MCP servers I should support next, and what's annoying about your current setup. I'll be here all day answering questions. GitHub:
