Prime Focus - One focus a day for people drowning in productivity apps

Prime Focus is a daily clarity app. Each morning, one gatekeeper question turns chaos into ONE focus, with a visible deadline and an AI coach that remembers your patterns. No endless task lists. No productivity theater. Just 2 minutes of clarity that shapes your day.

hey PH 👋 i'm Tornike. solo non-technical founder. built Prime Focus on rork.com over the last 6 months. started the build in Codex, but transitioned to Claude Code—Opus 4.7 just gets my prompts perfectly and does most of the heavy lifting. short version of why this exists: every morning for years i'd open Notion or Todoist, stare at a list of 30 things, pick the easiest one just to feel productive, and watch the actual important stuff slide for weeks. by the third "fresh start" of the year i realized the apps weren't broken. the model was. capturing more isn't clarity—it's just better-organized chaos. so Prime Focus does the exact opposite. one question every morning. one Focus Card with a real deadline (countdown to 11:59pm) and a "win condition" so you actually know what done looks like. an AI Coach that remembers your patterns over weeks instead of restarting every conversation. no backlog, no projects, no 47 tabs. one focus, one day. a few things i'm proudest of: 🟧 the grace window: finish at 12:08am, your streak survives. midnight is arbitrary, the day ends when you sleep. 🟧 salvage mode: for actual emergencies (sick day, family stuff). it has a limited weekly quota so it can't become an excuse, but it's there when life happens. 🟧 AI coach memory: by week 2 the coach knows whether you're a "starts strong, fades by 3pm" person or a "needs two false starts before momentum hits" person. that context changes how it talks to you. building this taught me more than anything else i've done. rewrote the storage layer twice. found bugs i'd never have caught if i wasn't using the app myself daily. there are still rough edges, but the core ritual works. i've used it for 4 months straight and it's the first system that actually held up past month one for me. would genuinely love your feedback: → does the "one focus" framing land, or feel limiting? → if you've tried other productivity apps and quit, what killed it? → thoughts on pricing? (free forever, Premium at $9.99/mo or $79.99/yr) i'll be hanging out in the comments all day. ask me anything: about the build process, transitioning between AI tools, what's coming next, or the absolute worst bug i shipped to myself. primefocusapp.com
