Praya - Alarm & Prayer - The alarm that feels like someone calling you.

by
Most alarms are easy to ignore. Praya isn't. Praya wakes you up with a simulated incoming call — complete with caller name and photo. Record your own voice, a loved one's, or let a warm TTS voice say your name. For intentional mornings, it reads out a Bible verse or Bhagavad Gita shloka aloud. Built for heavy sleepers, ADHD, and spiritually-minded people. No bloat. Just a smarter wake-up.

Hey PH! 👋 a solo dev here. The idea came from my mom — who'd sleep through every alarm I set for her. I kept thinking: the one thing nobody ignores is an actual incoming call. So I built that. Praya wakes you up with a simulated phone call UI — caller name, photo, the whole feel of a real call. You can record a loved one's voice as the alarm, or have it read out a Bible verse or Bhagavad Gita shloka so your first moment of the day feels grounded, not chaotic. Along the way I kept refining one thing: it shouldn't just be loud, it should feel personal. That's what separates it from every other alarm app. Would love feedback from heavy sleepers, ADHD folks, or anyone who's tried 10 alarm apps and still wakes up late. That's exactly who I built this for. 🙏 Happy to answer anything below!
