Why does Windows still make dragging files between apps feel this annoying?

I got tired of dragging files around, Alt+Tabbing between windows, and dumping temporary stuff on the desktop just so I could use it somewhere else.

So I built Pouchy grab a file, shake your mouse, and a little shelf appears.

Park it there switch apps drag it back out wherever you need it.
