Would you let an AI agent post to your social accounts without checking first?
Over the last year we noticed something odd at PostNitro: a growing share of our users never open our editor anymore. They ask Claude, ChatGPT or an n8n flow to make the carousel for them, and the agent calls us in the background.
That got us building for agents properly. Your agent can now design an on-brand carousel, image post or short video and schedule it to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook and Pinterest, all from one prompt.
But it raised a question we keep arguing about internally: where should the human stay in the loop?
Right now we support both:
• Autopilot: the agent designs and schedules, and the post goes out on its own
• Handoff: the agent drafts it, and it opens in our editor so you can tweak it before scheduling
In our own testing, people happily let agents handle recurring content (tips, quotes, recaps) but want to review anything with numbers, opinions or their face on it.
Curious where you draw the line:
What would you trust an agent to post without review?
What would you never let it touch?
Is reviewing a draft in an editor enough, or do you want approval in Slack, email or similar?
We're launching PostNitro for Agents here on Tuesday, Oct 13, and your answers will shape what we build next. 🙏
