Portolio - Smart tools for reading SEC filings

by
SEC filings are public, but reading them is painful — tiny fonts, dense legalese, no dark mode, no way to take notes. Portolio fixes that. Read filings in a clean, modern reader. Highlight and annotate directly in the document. Get filing enrichment that surfaces the key data without opening the full filing. Smart Summaries for 10-Qs and 10-Ks are coming soon. Built for retail investors who actually read what companies file

I built Portolio because I got tired of reading SEC filings on EDGAR. The font is tiny, everything is in legalese (making it hard to find actionable information), and there's no way to take notes or highlight anything. The SEC has a lot more money than me - they should do better. So I built a reader that actually works: dark mode, larger fonts, inline highlighting and annotations. But where I think it really shines is in the filing enrichment and summaries. You can see the key data points from a filing without having to open the whole document - in a feed to track the companies you follow. For larger filings, generate a summary of the relevant information instead of having to search through the unreadable document. Smart Summaries for 10-Qs and 10-Ks are coming soon. There's a free tool to try out as well. Would love any and all honest feedback from folks who read filings regularly — what would make this indispensable for you?
