by
Reduce eye strain and boost productivity with Pomy, a Pomodoro-inspired app based on the optometrist-endorsed 20-20-20 rule. 1. Work on-screen for 20 mins 2. Take a 20-sec break when prompted by the special break screen, and look at something 20 feet away

It's been 7 years since the very first version of Pomy. During this time, I became a dad, moved from Australia to Canada. Just so much happened... It did take some time, but after all those years, Pomy 2 is finally here! Pomy 2 continues the essence of the V1 but is packed with meaningful features based on the warm support and feedback from countless Pomy users. For V2, there are now two versions: • Lite version / Free: Designed according to the 20-20-20 rule and featuring smart mechanisms to ensure you take a 20-second break strictly. - - • Full version / USD 4.99 / One-off payment: Includes everything the Lite version offers, plus customizable timers, long break timer, time tracking, desktop widget, themes and more. - - Pomy started after I visited optometrists and heard about the 20-20-20 rule time after time. It was originally designed to encourage myself to look away from the screen by actually shading the screen for 20 seconds. Then, I started to share Pomy with others who may be seeking the same. Start taking care of your eyes! Make work fun with Pomy!
This looks fabulous! And so needed in these long days of remote working... What if I am in a Zoom meeting, does it wait until meetings?
Thank you so much, Jade! Pomy doesn't listen to/monitor other apps, so it will continue to run. You can simply press "Esc" to stop when the break screen overlay occurs, or run it as-is if you'd be still keen to take a quick eye break during some meetings!
Ahh nice! I am going to grab this then! Even a screen break in a meeting is sometimes really needed! Thanks for coming back to me.
Yoooooo Duude The design looks absolute stunning
