I've been using it for the last week or so. It's been great so far & love being able to chat with the team in Slack. Excited to try out the iOS app.

I am sure this has been mentioned before but this is such a beautiful UI overall, can't wait to check this out, getting on the list now! Really like the "read later" option (amongst the other features), having used Boomerang, this looks like a good alternative for me).

@sarthakgrover Glad you like it! We'll be in touch soon!

As a long time Mailbox user it really hurt to have to give up on it when it became bug-ridden in the last few months and I was really missing having my mail on the desktop. I was so excited to get into the Alpha test for Polymail and it has been amazing! With all the best parts of Mailbox I've slipped straight into using Polymail productively for my mail without even thinking about it - its like the last 4 months of desktop mail hell never happened! The team and community behind the product are really great, they're super responsive to bug reports and feature requests and I'm amazed at how fast they're pushing out improvements and fixes. For an Alpha version it has been very stable (infinitely more stable than Mailbox was in public Beta) and a pleasure to use. Polymail is beautiful, powerful and a pleasure to use - highly recommended!

What services and protocols will Polymail support? IMAP? POP3? How large have you tested mailbox sizes? Also, have you put thought into encryption as an option?
Brandon Shin
@trauring we're bringing in IMAP as we speak! Encryption is not planned yet but we are considering it.
Philip Trauring
@bshins So that's a no on POP3?

As others in alpha have already said, Polymail has been an amazing e-mail experience. To give you some background, I used Mailbox extensively when I first got it and loved it, then one day it wasn't quite functioning perfectly. I was hoping Mailbox would get back to where it was, but it just got worse. I stuck with it until a few weeks ago when I had had enough. It was perfect timing, because that's when I found out about Polymail. After going back to Gmail and Mac Mail for a few weeks, I realized that I was really missing an e-mail client that meshed with how I worked. Then just a few days ago I got Polymail's alpha. It has exceeded my expectations. It's already the best e-mail client I've ever used. It has more functionality than Mailbox and it looks better (the design is similar to Slack and it works and feels wonderful). Major props to the team working on Polymail, it's very obvious that they're passionate about their product when talking with them. I can't wait to see where things go from here.

@natemccord Thanks Nate! Very grateful to have you on POlymail!
