Hey Product Hunt!

I was learning a foreign language but didn't have anyone to speak it with for practice, and after seeing the cost of tutors, I decided to build this website.

I hope to add voice to voice interaction as well in the near future.

I hope anyone else in the same situation finds it useful!

It’s perfect for daily practice. Can it adjust to my learning speed?

Sashank Bhagavatula
@ella_hall4 Yep! You can ask it to make responses harder or easier.

Many people learn languages for business or travel does your AI tailor its vocabulary and scenarios to those specific needs or is it just focused on general conversation?

Sashank Bhagavatula
@luke_stanley1 It should be able to easily adjust to such contexts if you tell it to, but by default it is focused on general conversation.
Camille Mcintyre

Does it only support voice conversations

or can I also type and receive corrections?

Sashank Bhagavatula
@camille_mcintyre Yes, you can type to it like any other chatbot! It can speak messages to you, but it doesn’t accept voice input.
Clara Ellington

How many languages do you currently support?

Sashank Bhagavatula
@clara_ellington As many as Google Gemini supports, which is 40 languages.
Abigail Martinez

I love the always ready feature but how many languages does it actually support?

Sashank Bhagavatula
@abigail_martinez1 It supports as many as Google Gemini supports, which is 40 languages.

Having real conversations can make such a big difference but does it fix mistakes as we go along?

Sashank Bhagavatula
@lucas_edwards1 Yep! If you talk to it in your native language, it’ll tell you how to say it in your target language, and if you make a mistake while speaking your target language, it’ll correct you.

How do you make sure that cultural nuances are taught correctly and not just direct translations of phrases?

Sashank Bhagavatula
@sadie_scott If you use the explain-on-highlight feature, cultural nuances are explained.

This is truely awesome! I've been wanting to brush up on my Spanish for ages, but finding affordable practice is a nightmare. The idea of conversational AI for language learning is kinda genius imo — solves a huge problem! Is there a free version I can try out first?
