My Facebook feed has been flooded with Pokemon Go photos today, as this came online in Australia yesterday morning. I didn't realise I had so many friends into Pokemon. The memes have also begun!

This is an amazing concept, and it makes a lot more sense now why Niantic spun off from being Google-owned. I'd love to have been in that pitch meeting. "Hey, y'all, what if... we did Ingress... but with Pokemon? No, actual Pokemon. Let's get Mr. Nintendo on the phone."

This game is actually amazing, but at the same time people shouldn't get obsessed with it, because afterwards it will be a waste of time, even when the game is really interesting.

Pros:

It's like making an anime and it's fun.

Cons:

Maybe add new characters or improve it with other anime like ''Naruto''.

yeah. Time by time,the game would be wasted. It should be make more variant of games type. Then the game will be continued and not boring

Had a lot of fun, worth it for the Pokemon experience. But might not be for more hardcore players that are looking for a similar experience to the older games.

Pros:

Free, tons of content, always providing new updates

Cons:

Some parts of the game are difficult to access

Alas! I can already picture thousands of children booking it down the street because a Charizard was spotted 3 blocks away. It will be mayhem and it will be wonderful.

As someone working in the videogame industry, I'm really excited by this AR freemium game.
Very cool, and very scary at the same time. Execution will be critical, but this could be a game changer to say the least.

I love AR games, mostly because of the possibilities I see in it. Invisimals and Eye of Judgment from Sony were some of my tippy top favs playing in that space. If Pokemon Go is half as good as I expect, I'll likely be on airplanes trying to catch 'em all.
