I built Ply because I kept losing little thoughts every time I switched between apps.
You’re in Cursor, Figma, Slack, YouTube, or a browser tab, you notice something worth remembering, and suddenly you’re opening Notes, trying to remember where you were, or losing the thought completely.
Ply lets you press ⌥ Space to quickly write a note and attach it to the context you’re working in. Come back to that project, file, page, or workspace later, and your note comes back with it.
And when you don't want to type, you can hold ⌥ A and just talk. Ply uses AI to turn what you say into a clean note, attached to the same context.
You can use Ply completely without AI, or bring it in when voice is faster than typing.
It’s local-first and private by design, built to stay out of the way rather than become another workspace you have to manage.
