Hi Product Hunt, I spent the last couple of years building shipping software, which meant writing a lot of code to generate, merge and manipulate PDFs and barcodes. Whenever I needed a quick one-off tool, the options online were all the same: upload your file to someone's server, wait, hit a page limit, then get asked to sign up or pay to remove a watermark. Browsers can handle most of this natively now, so PlumeDocs does everything client-side. Your file never leaves your device. Merge, split, compress, convert, organize, protect and sign PDFs, plus an invoice generator, barcode generator and scanner. Free, no account, no watermark. Ads keep the lights on. I'd love to know which tool you'd want added next. And if anything breaks on your files, tell me and I'll fix it.

Finally a PDF tool that doesn't shove your contract through some mystery server. Merged a few files and the whole thing ran faster than my usual online tool.

Thank you so much Duygu! 🙏

Really happy to hear that the merge worked smoothly and felt faster for you. Privacy is the core reason I built Plume Docs no files ever leave your browser, no mystery servers, no data collection.

I tried invoice generation tool and it's very easy to use and barcode scanner truly love it

💡 Bright idea

The offline-first approach is genuinely refreshing, and the no-watermark free tier sealed the deal for me. One thing I'd love to see is a CLI or local script version so I can batch-process sensitive PDFs straight from my terminal without opening a browser, especially useful for automating redactions across hundreds of files.

Thank you so much Kıymet! 🙏

is is something we are seriously considering for the roadmap.

I'll make sure to keep you updated once we start working on it. Appreciate you taking the time to share this!

The fact that every tool runs locally without sacrificing the polished, modern interface is impressive. Most client-side apps feel clunky, but Plume feels snappy and well-considered. Solid execution all around.

Thank you so much Güllü! 🙏

This means a lot. I worked really hard to make sure Plume feels fast, polished, and modern while staying 100% client-side and private. Comments like yours confirm we’re on the right track.

Appreciate the kind words and support!

One thing I'd love to see is a batch processing mode where you can queue up multiple files and apply the same operation across all of them at once, with a simple drag and drop folder support. Right now handling 30+ contracts one by one gets tedious even with great tools, and that kind of workflow push would make Plume a daily driver instead of an occasional go-to.

Thank you so much, Sedef! 🙏 Your feedback means a lot. The idea of batch processing with drag & drop folder support is fantastic, especially for managing 30+ contracts or documents at the same time. I've added it to our roadmap because making Plume a true daily tool is exactly my goal. I'll keep you updated as we begin working on this. I really appreciate you sharing such a detailed use-case!

Finally a PDF tool that actually cares about privacy. Files never leave the browser. Merged a couple of contracts and it felt much safer than the usual online tools.
