Over the years I’ve developed a pretty intense interest in the legal system, and not exactly by choice. After dealing with some incredibly frustrating experiences trying to file things myself, including run-ins with certain court clerks who shall remain unnamed, I kept running into the same absurd problem. Filings getting rejected not because the argument was wrong, but because the margins were off, the line numbers weren’t right, or some tiny formatting rule buried in a local court manual wasn’t followed perfectly. After banging my head against that wall enough times, I figured there had to be a better way. So I built it. Pleadwise came out of that experience.
