Hi Product Hunt 👋

I built PlanMate because I kept having disappointing travel experiences.

I'd plan a food tour and Google would give me top spots... scattered 5 miles apart. I'd spend more time driving than eating.

The problem wasn't the recommendations — it was that no one optimized for walking.

So I asked: what if AI planned geographically first, ratings second?

PlanMate clusters venues within walking distance, then builds routes between them. Tight, walkable itineraries - not a scavenger hunt across town.

Choose tight clusters for walking, or spread search for city-wide coverage.

For each venue:

  • Ask questions — "Is this touristy?" "Good vegan options?" "Is there a pharmacy nearby?"

  • Watch Instagram Reels — see the actual vibe and crowd and good POV

  • Share with friends — everyone knows the plan

More social sources coming soon. Reels can be slow to load, mobile improving, but core clustering works.
