Pipoke - a new anonymous-by-default social app

by
Pipoke is an on-chain social app and an inbuilt Octra wallet in one product. Every post, reply, repost, like, follow, tip, bid, vote, room open, and trade is a signed transaction on Octra. There is no backend database holding the “real” state of your feed. There is no off-chain orderbook for the coins you launch. The chain is the product.

For years, I think we've accepted that our conversations, relationships, content, and reach all live inside someone else's database, where they can change the rules of, shadowban inside, or take away anything that doesn't suit their preferences. Even most "decentralized" social platforms still rely heavily on off-chain infrastructure for the actual social experience. So we thought, what if the social layer itself was just as on-chain as the money? Not "social on top" of the stack but social AS on-chain state, where every post, every reply, every follow, every voice room, every community, and piece of media is a real transaction with verifiable history. Where anonymity isn't a feature you bolt on later, but something you can do with real cryptographic guarantees Where creators don't rent their audience from a platform, but actually own the relationship on-chain. Once we saw Octra making this a technical reality–fast finality, native ZK primitives, on-chain storage, and the ability to run 142 programs with proper sharding, it stopped feeling like a concept and started feeling like something that had to be brought to life. Pipoke is our chess move to truly envision what social looks like when the chain really is the product.
