Perch - A Claude context manager for everyone, not just engineers

by•
A calm Mac app for running Claude Code sessions side by side. Perch keeps every session, PR, and link for a piece of work in one place, and tells you when something needs you.

I'm an engineer who manages multiple contexts / threads in my day-to-day, so I built a tool that makes my life easier, and cut down on the dreaded decision fatigue.

Then I realized it might be useful for others, too. So I spent a couple days to make it "marketable".

It's not just for engineers, rather anyone who uses multiple Claude sessions at work or otherwise.

Curious if others would find this useful, too, or have any feedback? What changes would make this a win for your workflow?

Some Details:

- It's a Mac app (Apple Silicon) that runs your Claude Code sessions side by side. Each piece of work gets a "context" with its own session, next steps, status, PRs, and links.

- The dashboard groups contexts by whose move it is: yours, waiting on a reviewer or teammate, Claude working, or idle. You get a notification when a session needs you or a PR gets review comments.

- For non-engineers, there's a Chat view instead of the terminal, a guided Claude Code install, and folder pickers instead of paths. Engineers can stay in the real Claude Code terminal if they prefer.

- It runs the actual claude CLI, and sessions keep running if you quit Perch. You can also import your existing Claude Code sessions.

- Everything stays on your Mac. There's no account and no analytics, and crash reports are opt-in.
