7 checks to run before delivering a PDF-to-Excel workbook

A spreadsheet can open cleanly and still be wrong. Before client delivery I check:

1. Source vs. output row count.

2. Missing required fields.

3. Duplicate record IDs.

4. Dates and numbers stored with the right type.

5. Shifted columns or values under the wrong header.

6. Quantity and value totals against the source.

7. Spot checks back to the original PDF.
