Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m excited to share PDF Agent Assist — an AI-powered desktop workspace for understanding large PDF documents on macOS and Windows. The idea came from a very real frustration while reading programming books, technical documentation, and research PDFs. Every time I had a doubt or wanted a deeper explanation, I had to constantly switch between the PDF and different AI platforms, rewrite context manually, and wait for useful responses. So I started building a workflow where AI lives directly beside the PDF. With PDF Agent Assist, you can: • Open large PDFs smoothly • Select text directly from any page • Get instant contextual AI explanations • Use quick prompts for faster understanding • Stay focused without jumping between apps The project is still in its early stage, and this is the first public version. I already have many planned improvements and features I want to build over time around AI-powered document workflows and productivity.
