PayMeLater IOU Tracker + Bill Splitting - Split bills with multiple friends simply with Drag and Drop

Hey Product Hunt! Maker here. PayMeLater started from a small observation. Don't track which items are settled. Just how much in total is settled for each friend. So the first version was a simple IOU ledger where every entry keeps its reason, date and history, with a running tally. This launch is the piece people kept asking for: proper bill splitting. The design goal was to make the fair split as fast as the lazy one — you add the bill, drag friends onto the items they actually had, and the maths just works: tips split in proportion to what each person consumed, discounts apply, multiple payers are handled, and every share is exact to the penny. One tap turns the result into IOUs on each person's balance, settled with the fewest possible transfers. Two deliberate choices worth flagging: • Your friends don't need the app. You can split a bill and keep the ledger entirely on your own; if a friend joins later, the shared bills naming them sync retroactively. • No payment reminders, by design.
