A credit-based payments for AI startups

PayCan Credit is an open‑source integration that adds credit‑based payments to SaaS and AI apps in ~10 lines of code.

A while back I created PayCan, and several folks mentioned that what they really needed for their AI side projects was a simple credit and token system, so they wouldn't have to keep writing custom wallet ledgers, balance checks, and top-up popups from scratch.

I changed it to a credit engine. It handles user balances, safe token deductions on the backend, and gives you a clean drop-in modal where users can check their balance, view usage history, etc

Since this whole update came directly from community suggestions, I’m really eager to hear your thoughts: Does this match how you usually manage tokens/credits in your apps? What feels missing, clunky, or overcomplicated?
