A few months ago, my cousin called me.
Not to catch up. Not to share news. But because she'd been so overwhelmed with constant AI updated and it taking over jobs, and she was scared.
"Should I be worried?" she asked.
I tried to explain. I talked about large language models, Claude Code, Prompt Engineering. I could hear her eyes glaze over through the phone.
She said: "Just tell me ā should I use Claude or not?"
That question stopped me cold.
Here I was ā someone who works in tech, reads about AI every day, uses these tools constantly ā and I couldn't explain it to someone I love in a way that actually helped her. And she wasn't alone. I started noticing it everywhere:
Friends texting me asking which AI tool to use for their work
Cousins asking if N8N was "safe"
Colleagues who use ChatGPT daily but have no idea why it sometimes makes things up
Kids who've grown up with Alexa but can't explain what a "prompt" is
The resources out there are either too technical (research papers, developer docs) or too shallow (listicles with "10 ChatGPT tips!"). There's nothing in between for the curious non-technical person who just wants to understand ā really understand ā what's happening and how to use these tools confidently.
So I built one.
