Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Ryota, the creator of passNote. The idea for passNote came from a Japanese tradition called "exchange diaries." Two people share a notebook and take turns writing about their daily lives, thoughts, and experiences. Unlike instant messaging, it's a slower and more personal way to build a connection. While building passNote, I kept asking myself: Why do we have so many ways to meet people online, but so few ways to truly get to know them? Most social apps are optimized for speed. I wanted to create something optimized for depth. passNote allows two people to share a private diary together, even if they live on opposite sides of the world. Built-in translation helps users communicate across languages while preserving the original text. As a solo developer, I've spent the past few months designing, building, and refining the app, and today I'm excited to finally share it with you. I'd love to hear your honest feedback: 👉 What helps you build meaningful friendships online? Thank you for checking out passNote! 🌏📖
