Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm Kyle Beard, the founder of Tiger Mind Labs, and I'm happy to announce the launch of Pace Chase! This is our second product in the App Store, but our first app posted on Product Hunt. As an athlete myself, I built it as a self-help tool to plan out my goals and expectations for training or races. I wanted to share because I believe others might find this beneficial or nifty! My main motivation behind the design of this app was to pump as much color in as possible, while keeping an intuitive user experience that allows users to quickly tinker and customize the app to get the information they seek as quickly as possible. I hope you can download the app and enjoy it! I have a few promo codes while supplies last, so please let me know if you like one to try out the app. All feedback and comments are welcome so we can iterate and improve to best fit the athletic community’s needs and wishes!

@kylebeard I really like the idea of boosting motivation with bright colors as well as the beautiful templates that will be an eye-catcher on social media 😊 How does the app get the data? Will it access my iPhone's health app? Congrats on the launch 🚀
Kyle Beard
@crebuh hey Cristofer thanks for taking the time to comment! The app right now does hypothetical timing so it’s intended to be used prior to your training or races as a planning tool rather than an “in the moment” tool. This is purely an MVP so in the future I could sync it with Apple Health if users wanted to import their previous activities and see where they could improve or maintain more consistency to hit their goals in the future (i.e. starting a race too fast and ultimately dying off rather than being conservative).

Hey Kyle! Super excited to see Pace Chase finally launch! I love the idea of visualizing pace—it's such a game changer for training. The colorful design sounds awesome and really appealing! Can't wait to give it a spin and see how it helps with my training goals. Definitely interested in a promo code if you still have some left! Keep the great work coming, can’t wait to see how Pace Chase evolves!
Kyle Beard
@blankwebdev thank you for the accolades and positivity! If you shoot me an email at kyle@tigermindlabs.com I’ll get you that promo code! I’d post here but don’t want it to get taken before you get a chance to see it.

hey this is an awesome product but by any chance are you releasing this product, for smart watches too like apple watch or Samsung watch ??? if so this is revolutionary, and will be really handy and easier than a mobile phone
Kyle Beard
@revanth_reddy04 hey Revanth I appreciate you taking a glance at the product and commenting! Smartwatch integration would be awesome, wouldn’t it?! I do want to add that soon. Since this is just an MVP I built in the last two weeks, there’s plenty of room to improve. By chance, what would you want the watch app to do? The app right now is purely a planning tool to see the relationship between pace and time over your training/races for each sport, which would easily translate to the watch if you were wanting to see that data there (i.e. you’re running a half marathon without your phone and you want to see your time splits at each interval to help you pace). In the future, there could be opportunity to do GPS tracking but it depends on if the demand exists. Would love to hear your thoughts on what you’d want to see built!

Hey Kyle, I'm curious, how does the app differentiate between the different sports and provide tailored metrics for each? Are there any future plans to integrate with popular fitness trackers? Congrats on the launch!
Kyle Beard
@kyrylosilin hey Kyrylo thanks for taking a glance at the product and inquiring! The basic foundation of relating pacing, speed, distance, and finish time and all very similar between the various sports. The big difference is the pre-populated values that are applicable for each sport. For example, running includes some pre-loaded track distances so anyone doing speed work can easily utilize that, whereas swimming includes common pool lengths. I tried to make sure each to put detail into each sport so it feels natural to the user. In the future, the concept of integrating with fitness trackers could be great if done right. Which ones in particular are you thinking about, and what types of data integration of helpful features across these apps would you want to see?
Muhammad Yahia
Good job!! Why don't you have an android version?
Kyle Beard
@muhammad_yahia hey Muhammad great question! This is an MVP launch and as an iOS developer myself, it was the chosen platform to get off the ground. If demand exists, I wouldn’t mind making an Android version as well!
