I texted my PC from a client meeting — it texted back with the file

Last month I was offsite with a client. The conversation turned to a pricing proposal I'd drafted but couldn't find on my phone. Going back to the office wasn't realistic.

I opened WhatsApp and messaged my own computer: "Find the Johnson pricing proposal and send it here."

Two minutes later it was in the chat. I forwarded it to the client. Meeting continued.

⚠  Honest tradeoff upfront: your desktop needs to be awake and online. If your PC is off, the bridge doesn't work. It's a bridge to your computer, not a replacement for it.
