Stop wasting time on bad leads: I built an AI that scores content-fit for freelance video editors.
Hey PH community! 👋
If you're a freelance video editor, you know the pain: you spend hours doing cold outreach, finding emails, and writing pitches, only to realize the client's video style doesn't even match your portfolio.
I got tired of re-explaining my editing style to ChatGPT every time I wanted to write an email, so I built a dedicated tool to fix this.
How it works: It uses Gemini to analyze the prospect's content (sampling frames to read the pacing and style) and compares it against your specific portfolio. It gives you a "fit score" so you can triage your leads and instantly generates a highly personalized pitch without you having to prompt it from scratch.
The goal isn't to be a perfect 100% scientific measurement, but a fast "triage signal" to save you hours of manual research.
I recently tested it with 25 real emails and shared it on Reddit where I got some great constructive feedback. Now, I'd love to hear from the makers and freelancers here:
Does a content-fit score sound like a useful metric before you start your outreach?
What else would you want to know about a prospect before pitching them?
Any feedback (brutal or otherwise) is highly appreciated!
