Orty - Stop guessing which creators are worth cold emailing.
by•
Orty is a local desktop app for freelance video editors. Drop in a creator's screenshot, and AI rates them 1-10 on fit, then drafts the cold email. 100% local, no cloud. $29 one-time vs $97/mo SaaS tools. Bring your own free API keys.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm a freelance video editor, and I built Orty because I was tired of two things:
1. Wasting hours scrolling through YouTube/Instagram trying to guess which creators actually needed editing help (and could afford it).
2. Paying $97–$297/month for generic SaaS outreach tools that just blast spammy templates without judging if my editing style actually fits their content.
So, I coded a local-first Windows desktop app to solve it.
**How it works:**
You manually find a creator's profile, take a screenshot, and drop it into Orty. The AI (Gemini Vision) analyzes their content and gives them a 1–10 "Fit Score" based on your specific editing niche. If they score high, it drafts a hyper-personalized cold email using your actual rate card and portfolio.
**Why it's different:**
• **Local-First & Private:** Your leads, CRM, and emails live in a CSV on your machine. No cloud, no telemetry, no server.
• **Anti-Subscription:** It’s $29 one-time. You bring your own free API keys (Groq + Gemini), so there are zero recurring fees for me or you.
• **Premium New UI (v1.11-beta):** I just spent the last week completely rebuilding the interface. It now features a glassmorphic dark theme, animated score meters, and syntax-highlighted email drafts. It looks like a premium SaaS, but runs 100% offline.
There's a Free tier (5 ratings/day) if you want to try it out.
I'd love to hear from other freelancers or indie hackers—how do you currently handle cold outreach without going broke on SaaS subscriptions? Let me know what you think of the new UI!
