Hey, team, I'm Anaïs, an HR professional with 10+ years as HR manager in France. I built Outil-RH.fr because I was tired of redoing the same manual calculations over and over — turnover rate, severance pay for a "rupture conventionnelle" (a very French thing, with strict legal deadlines and collective agreement rules that are easy to get wrong), gross-to-net conversions... Spreadsheets everywhere, and none of the generic calculators online accounted for French labor law specifics. At the same time, every time I had to recommend or find an HRIS or ATS, I found myself redoing the same research from scratch. So I started writing it down — comparisons, pros/cons, pricing — and it grew into a library of 50+ software reviews. I did create my own backlog to facilitate it. It started as a spreadsheet for myself, and turned into a free toolkit I wish I'd had years ago. Everything is free, no signup needed. Content is in French, built specifically for the French HR market and labor law. I think i'll publish some articles or tools in english as well (it could be usefull abroad !) Would love your feedback — and if you're in HR (anywhere, not just France), curious: what's the one manual task you still dread doing every month?

Poked around the turnover and severance calculators, super handy for quick checks without digging through spreadsheets. The software comparison section is a nice bonus, really useful for HR folks trying to pick tools.

Thanks so much, really glad the calculators are saving you the spreadsheet hassle — that's exactly the goal, keep it simple but genuinely complete, no fluff.

If you spot anything that could be improved (a calculator, the comparisons, anything really), I'd love to hear it 🙂

How do you keep the software comparisons current when vendors change pricing or features pretty often, and is there a way for HR teams to flag outdated info they spot while using the toolkit?

great question — honestly, pricing doesn't change as often as you'd think for most of these tools. Some vendors revise their pricing policy once a year, others barely touch it for years — it really varies vendor to vendor, there's no universal rhythm.

But when it does change, that's exactly the kind of thing that's easy to miss on a comparison site, i agree ! So I just shipped a "last verified" date on each page, plus a one-click way to flag outdated info directly from the page instead of digging for a contact form.

Appreciate you raising it !
