Hey Product Hunt! This is Kevin, one of the co-founders of Orchids 👋
Today we're excited to introduce Orchids, the first AI Full Stack Engineer.
Orchids sets state-of-the-art on UI and full stack capability, having ranked #1 on UI Bench and Design Arena - beating Devin, Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, Replit, and v0.
Orchids is capable of implementing frontend, backend, database, auth, and payments out of the box with absolutely no third party integrations required.
We truly believe this is the next step forward in helping anyone build software and look forward to seeing what you make :)

Super interesting launch. Just wanna know how does Orchids handle state management and routing decisions when generating full stack apps like is it opinionated (like Next.js conventions) or adaptive based on project context?
@bencostantini We consistently perform better on all benchmarks and tons of users have switched over. Best way to see this is for you to just try it out yourself!
@james_smith_aweb Orchids is specifically tailored for full stack app development and so everything from the frontend, backend, auth, database, and payments are baked in while you'll have to start completely from scratch in Cursor which is more error prone and time consuming.
@hugors00 We've made lots of improvements. Let us know how it goes :)

Congratulations!I’ve successfully cloned a website using Orchids, and the homepage UI is highly accurate—even the videos have been synced over. However, some of the internal navigation links aren’t working properly. Also, it might be helpful to add some guidance for the Publish step when generating production code, as new users might feel a bit lost after the code is generated.
@xiaomin_zhou Yep we'll think about how to make publish/deploy even clearer/easier.

I’ve built three sites with Orchids and found the AI-driven site creation process impressively smooth—it quickly assembles both frontend and backend from simple chats. While some features need polish and it occasionally misses fine details, improvements are happening fast. Orchids even handled my Infusionsoft integration on the first try. As a Lovable user, I’m genuinely considering a switch; Orchids is already rivaling bigger tools, often excelling in design and automation. It’s definitely worth trying if you want an AI-powered web development approach.
This was my second AI Development tool apart from cursor. Initially i thought it is like Cursor, but turned out to be more intuitive was more productive using this tool. Congrats!! and look forward for more feature additions and a lower cost!

I worked on two projects on Orchids and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to create a user-friendly interface for my web applications from the very beginning, and how practically everything worked. Then my appetite grew, and I demanded more 🤓 and more improvements. So if you were in my shoes, keep in mind that you will need significantly more tokens for serious tasks.

@lak7 All Orchids projects are Next.js!
Testing it now - curious to know how does it compare to @Lovable ?

@kevinlu12 i'm on it!
@bencostantini @kevinlu12 Seems promising. Will give it a spin!
How is it different from Cursor?

Meet Kai, the AI Trading Wizard
Super cool, congrats. I tried it once before and encountered a few bugs, but I’ll definitely give it another go and compare it to Lovable again! 🤙

I'm sure some will disagree, but lovely background music on the launch video! All the best on the launch. I'll tinker with the product shortly 🔥
