Do you actually compare ride-hailing prices before booking?

I’ve noticed something interesting with ride-hailing apps: most people seem to have a “default” app and just book through it, even when another service might be cheaper.

Uber, Bolt, Heetch, Free Now, etc. can have very different prices for the exact same trip, depending on the time and demand.

We’re building OptiRide around a simple idea: compare the available options first, then book through the service you choose.

I’m curious about your actual habits:

Do you compare prices before booking a ride, or do you usually just open your usual app?

And if you don’t compare, what’s the main reason — convenience, loyalty/rewards, not wanting to check multiple apps, or simply not thinking about it?
