Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Aviv, the Founder of Oppura. Quick question: when you were a student, how did you find out about special programs? I've spent all of last year building physical student-led programs at my university. I did every guerrilla marketing hack: from hanging signs on every building and every toilet, social collabs with my university, to WhatsApp groups, and more. The question I was left with is: why do students miss life-changing opportunities? Do they even care? As I experienced more and more, I found out that the problem lies in the physical realm. Students only know what their friends and school know. They're limited in a sense. And current solutions don't work: - Word-of-mouth is limited. If your friend didn't do it, you won't hear about it. - Schools recycle the same handful of programs every year. - Newsletters get ignored. - Existing tools only cover one category — fellowships or scholarships or hackathons. So I'm building Oppura: a free platform for students to find and apply to every student opportunity, regardless of major or university. No one should be limited by his/her surrounding anymore.
