Hi Product Hunt, I’m PG, the maker of OpenScreenShot. The first version helped you capture and annotate a webpage. This release adds another way to explain something: record it. Record a browser tab—or just part of it—with your voice, tab audio and webcam. Automatic zooms follow your clicks. Adjust those zooms, trim the recording, and export MP4 or WebM. The screenshot tools have grown too: capture individual elements, redact sensitive details, remove sections from long screenshots, and recover unfinished edits. Everything is processed locally. No account, no uploaded captures, no watermark. The project is free and MIT-licensed. Screenshots work in Chrome and Firefox; recording is currently Chrome-only. Try it: Source: What’s harder in your workflow today: explaining an issue with screenshots, or recording a clear walkthrough?
