Since this is a beta AI feature, it can suggest tools from our open-resource database - even ones you may have never heard of. For example, you can ask for a file manager for Windows or a music streaming app for Android. If something isn’t in our database, it uses AI web search to find and recommend useful tools.

Thanks for pulling this together! There are several times when I wonder if there's an open source version of a product, but I find it hard to make the time to do the research. I reviewed your site, and it looks like this will save me a bunch of time

Hi, this is useful. i have struggled with github search as well and just end up finding projects only when other mention them. Being able to search is helpful.

No, it doesn’t have a skill to connect with Claude yet. But it’s something I might consider adding in the future

Looks like something I'd use. One thing though, I wanted to try it but I needed to create an account, so it didn't feel "open resource" to me.

Content is free to access. However, to add resources or use AI features, you need to log in. Since AI APIs cost real money, the login helps prevent spam and avoids unnecessary charges
