Context Atlas - Find answers you can verify on the page you’re reading

Context Atlas is a Chrome extension that helps you understand a webpage without losing the source. Ask a question and get ranked page matches, then jump to the exact words that support each result. Search locally in your browser with an on-device model or choose optional Cloud search. It is free, open source, and built for answers you can verify.

Have you ever asked a question about a long webpage and received an answer without knowing where it came from? We built Context Atlas for that moment. Ask a question in your own words and it finds the passages that best match what you asked. Then it takes you back to the words on the page, so you can check the answer for yourself. Local search runs in the browser. The model downloads the first time you use it, and the page search stays on your device. Cloud search is optional when you want another search mode. The extension remembers your choice and keeps the same page connection either way. This is deliberately narrower than a general-purpose assistant. Browser Find is useful when you already know the exact word. Context Atlas helps when you know what you want to understand, but not the exact phrase used on the page. The extension is free to install, the source is public, and the Chrome Web Store listing is here: We would love to hear where you would use it: research, product documentation, news, policy pages, or something else?
