Open Threads - The Responsibility OS

by
Open Threads connects Slack, Jira, GitHub, email, calendar and documents, and turns what happens there into one explainable record of what needs you and why it's yours. It catches commitments nobody filed, orders work by who's blocked on you — not by due date — and tracks it until it's genuinely closed. No board to groom, no status to keep current: you just ask, and the answer is the work itself, evidence attached.

Hey Product Hunt. I'm Krishna, one of the makers. I started building Open Threads because I kept losing track of the same kind of thing: a "yeah, I'll take a look" in a Slack thread, a review nobody picked up, a decision quietly waiting on me across four different tools. None of that shows up on any board - it just sits in people's memory until it costs someone something. Open Threads connects the systems your work already happens in - Slack, Jira, GitHub, email, calendar, documents - and turns what happens there into one explainable record of what actually needs you, and why it's yours. It's ordered by who's blocked on you, not by a due date someone set weeks ago. No new board to groom, no status to keep updated — you just ask, and the answer comes with the evidence it was drawn from attached. We're early. This is an alpha, and right now we're looking for a small number of design partners — teams willing to trade some hours walking through the product with us, and roughly 30 minutes a fortnight after, for direct influence over what gets built first. If that sounds like your team, we'd genuinely love to hear what you think in the comments. You can also register yourself to become an alpha partner by filling out this small form -
