Launching Open Canvas tomorrow and wanted to share the story before it goes live.

I kept running into the same wall with AI tools.They pick your model. Hide your usage.

Charge you twice — once for the subscription, once marked up on the tokens.

So I built Open Canvas

The rules are simple:

— Bring your own API keys (Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, Mistral)

— See every token you spend in real time

— Pay your provider directly — we never touch that money

— Switch models mid-conversation in one click

— Add any custom model: DeepSeek, Groq, Ollama, Grok
