OmniRisk — Global Climate Risk & Property Screener

by

Hey Product Hunt community 👋

We're getting ready to launch OmniRisk — and before we do, I wanted to share what we've been building and hear from people who might actually use it.

The problem we kept running into:

If you're a real estate developer, ESG officer, or anyone managing physical assets, understanding climate risk for a specific property is painful. You either hire expensive consultants, stitch together fragmented public datasets, or just... guess. And with TCFD, CSRD, and SEC climate disclosure requirements tightening, "guessing" is becoming a compliance liability.

What OmniRisk does:

You enter any property address — anywhere on Earth — and within seconds you get a full physical climate risk screen across 9 hazard types:

  • 🌊 Pluvial flooding

  • 🌍 Earthquake

  • ⛰️ Landslide

  • 🌀 Cyclone wind

  • 🏜️ Drought

  • 🌊 Tsunami

  • 🌊 Coastal storm surge

  • 🔥 Wildfire

  • ☀️ Extreme heat

It also shows future projections out to 2100 under two climate scenarios (SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5), so you can see how risk evolves — not just what it is today. The underlying data comes from GIRI — the Global Infrastructure Risk Model developed by an international research consortium — so this isn't scraped guesswork, it's science-grade. The output is a boardroom-ready PDF report. No consultant. No waiting. No fragmented tabs.

Who it's for:

Financial institutions doing portfolio-level climate screening, real estate developers evaluating new sites, infrastructure planners, asset managers, and anyone navigating climate disclosure requirements.

We're looking for:

  • People currently doing this work manually (or expensively) — what does your current process look like?

  • Anyone in ESG, real estate, or infrastructure who'd be willing to try an early access run and tell us if the output is actually useful

  • Honest feedback on anything we may have missed

Drop a comment or reach out directly. Would genuinely love to hear from anyone in this space before we go live.

🌐 — early access available now
