Finally, a successor to MailBox. Bye-bye Outlook.
Been using this for a day now and it's lovely - Great design and UX and helped me organise (mercilessly kill) 1000's of messages... Loving it and looking forward to using it daily
Have been trying this out for the last day and it is definitely the first iOS email client to set Outlook off of its perch on my home screen. Just amazing! Look forward to see where this goes. :)
i find the interface too "clear". it s really hard to spot an unread email vs an unread.
Are you on Android or iOS? Unread emails on iOS have blue bars on the left. Android unread emails are bold.
ios. the bluebar is too clear, too narrow and hardly visible.
We continually refine design elements. I'll keep your feedback in mind. Thanks!
This product looks awesome. One of the key things for me right now in choosing an email client is having a native desktop client as well. One of my favorite features about Mailbox (which i still my favorite email client even though it's dead).
Yup. It's great to have consistency across mobile and desktop. We're deep in desktop design & dev.
when will you offer an iPad version?
No timeline to announce today but it's definitely something we are working toward.
Nice! Have some feeling like I'm using Inbox from Google.
Downloaded and really liked the functionality, then come to find out that it creates a label/folder for organization that conflicts with my own system. Unfortunate as I really liked it.
Hey Derek, do you mean the Notion Archive folder? :)
Ah, thanks! I'm sorry to hear the Notion Archive is getting in the way. We're planning on making the Notion Archive optional.
Giving access to my emails has always been a scary thing for me.
It's good to be wary. For us, trust is paramount. We cover our approach to security and privacy here: . And one of our founders has written an article on the topic here:
Is it just me or does the service not support yahoo mail yet? When I added my Yahoo, it went into advanced mode on its own and then says "Incorrect login". Of course, I double checked username and password, but is there anything specific to Yahoo? Also, why is the initial set up time ~30 minutes? The app works fine for gmail and outlook - as far as logging in is concerned.
Hey Ram! If you shoot us a line at , I'll be happy to help with this!
Looks like Yahoo was preventing a sign-in. I did uninstall the app though - the app badge icon doesn't reflect the actual number of unread emails and the initial prioritization of emails got a lot wrong. I guess I'm used to Outlook for iOS's way of Priority and Other inboxes. The app badge number really bothered me - I am not interested in the number of promos and updates I get, only in the number of direct "To" emails. Multi-swipe had to be trained many times to not cluster emails the way it does, so I think I will stick to my Outlook app for now.
