NORV - The habit tracker that never forgives a missed day

by
Most habit apps forgive you, reset your streak and move on. NORV doesn't. You sign a contract with yourself, and every missed day leaves a permanent mark on a 100-day wall. No confetti. No "Great job". Just an honest record of who you actually are.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Charlène, from France. NORV is my first app. I started it because I wanted to learn how to build one. I thought a habit tracker would be a simple first project. It wasn't, and somewhere along the way it became something I actually care about. What bothered me with the habit trackers I tried is that they're built to make you feel good rather than consistent. You miss three days, the app quietly resets your streak and says nothing. You do one habit out of five, it congratulates you. After a while you understand the app will always let you off, so you stop taking it seriously. NORV works the other way. Onboarding ends with a contract. You sign it with your own name, and you choose how long you commit for: 30 days, 90 days, a year, or forever. Then there's a wall of 100 squares. Every day you show up fills one. Every day you miss leaves a crack that stays there. You can't clear it. The score takes years, not weeks. The highest tier is reached on day 864, not after a month of motivation. Every day you can also answer three questions about how it really went. It's not a mood tracker. It's a record of what you told yourself on the hard days. Everything stays on your phone. No account, no signup, no cloud. Since it's my first project, what I'd really like is honest feedback. Not encouragement. If something feels wrong, unclear, or too harsh, tell me. That's the main reason I'm posting it here.
