I launched my sleep app here with 3 upvotes. 3 months later, here's what I got wrong.

Hi PH, Khoa here, solo Flutter dev from Vietnam.

In June I launched Noctra (sleep sounds, no ads). It got 3 points. Fair: I pitched features, not a problem.

What I learned since:

→ Nobody cares about "adaptive room scan" until you say what it solves: your AC hum or street noise leaking through the sound you picked.

→ Android-only halved my audience. It's on iPhone now.

→ Paywalling basics felt wrong. Rain, thunder, ocean and forest are now free, forever, no ads.

One honest question for you:

What actually keeps YOU awake: noise outside, noise in your head, or the app itself (ads, loud popups at 3 AM)?
